Brandon Woodhouse runs B&H Junk Removal, and in Laughlin he prices the junk removal and does the hauling himself. Text a photo to (559) 479-1199. The town is unincorporated and administered by Clark County, out on the Colorado River. Casino Drive is the main thoroughfare, and a load coming off a riverfront place there starts with a walk across a parking lot, not a driveway. South Laughlin and Emerald River are the opposite: a gate, and a dead freezer in the garage behind it.

Clark County's code lets a resident haul a load to a county transfer station or disposal site on their own, which works fine for two bags and a lamp. It stops working at a sleeper sofa on the second floor. Brandon doesn't need it at the curb either; he carries it out from where it sits, which is why people call him about an old washer or a dead water heater instead of wrestling it down the stairs. One price for the whole job, and he's the one who shows up to load it.

He comes in from Golden Valley in a pickup truck with a trailer, so the photo tells him whether he's pulling up to a lot on the Bruce Woodbury Drive corridor or a driveway in Emerald River. The minimum is $50 and that one number covers the job. An appliance still hooked up to gas, water or power has to be disconnected before it goes on the trailer.

Davis Dam controls the flash floods on this stretch of river. It doesn't do anything about the branches and busted fence panels the wind leaves in a side yard, and that pile is storm debris work on the same photo and the same price. Over by Mountain View Park, it's usually the backyard version: a bent canopy and chairs nobody sits in. A pile like that gets hauled any day of the week, 7 to 5.

Questions

Questions about junk removal in Laughlin.

Laughlin is run by Clark County, so does Brandon work out there?
Yes. The town is unincorporated and administered by Clark County while Brandon's base is over in Golden Valley, and that doesn't change how a job goes: he prices it from the photo and loads it himself.
How much does junk removal in Laughlin cost?
The minimum is $50, and Brandon prices the whole job from a photo. The pricing guide has more on it. Text a photo to (559) 479-1199.
What won't Brandon load in Laughlin?
Hazardous waste, mostly. Clear out a South Laughlin garage or a side yard off Emerald River and the paint, solvents, thinners and household chemicals stay put, along with motor oil, antifreeze, fuel cans, car batteries, pool and spa chemicals, propane and any pressurized cylinder. Asbestos, or anything that might hold it, needs a licensed abatement contractor, and the list of what goes on the truck runs longer than this.
Does Clark County pick up bulky items in Laughlin?
Yes, for a resident who gets single stream recycling collection: the county's code also gives that house a separate collection service for bulky items. An appliance over fifty pounds that a two person crew can pick up goes beside the wheeled carts or at the curb on the bulky item collection day. Brandon is the other option when the load is bigger than that, or when nobody can drag it out.
Where does what Brandon hauls out of Laughlin end up?
The donation center first, if it's still usable. Metal gets recycled where it can be. The rest goes to the landfill. A resident hauling their own load has a county option in town too: Clark County's franchise list includes an agreement for the Laughlin Landfill.
