Brandon Woodhouse hauls yard debris in Golden Valley and out across Mohave County. B&H Junk Removal is his alone, so the man who quotes your pile is the man loading it and the man who picked up when you called. Text a photo to (559) 479-1199. Branches off a tree you cut back, weeds pulled up by the root, dry shrubs, bagged clippings, the fence boards that came down in the wind. Almost none of it stacks neat, and almost all of it gets picked up by hand.

A weekend of yard work leaves more than the trash can will hold. A homeowner trims everything back and the pile ends up by the gate, and a landlord gets a yard back knee high in weeds. If a whole tree came down and the trunk is sitting in sections on the lawn, branch and brush hauling is the closer fit, and Brandon can tell from the photo which one the pile is.

Nothing has to be out front first. The pile stays where you left it until Brandon walks back there and starts hauling armloads out, side yard or the gap along the block wall. The quote comes off the photo, free, and it is one number for the whole job with a $250 minimum under it. If a storm is what filled the yard with limbs, that pile is storm and monsoon debris cleanup.

What ends up in a yard pile

Pull the pile apart and it is mostly green waste and the odds and ends that live outside with it. Branch cuttings. Weeds with the dirt still on the roots. Dead shrubs, roots and all. Bags of clippings and dry leaves. Then the things that were holding the yard together: fence boards, a cracked planter, a brittle roll of landscape fabric, a bent section of wire fencing, a wheelbarrow with a flat.

That mix is what sets this job apart from the indoor hauls. A couch comes out in one piece. A yard goes out an armload at a time. A yard pile also grows a little at a time, so it is usually bigger than it looks from the back door.

How Brandon gets a yard loaded

Brandon loads it himself. He walks the pile first and pulls out anything headed for a donation center or the scrap. Then he starts carrying. Side gates get propped open and the load goes out in armloads. If the only way out is up the deck stairs and around the house, that is the route he takes. He hauls it out in a pickup truck with a trailer, and the gate gets shut behind him.

On a rental, Brandon works off the photo the manager texts him and sets the day with the manager instead of the tenant. Gate codes and alley access get sorted in the same thread, so nobody is standing in the yard waiting on a phone call.

Where the yard debris goes

Not all of it is trash. Garden tools that still work and pots that are not cracked go to a donation center first, and so does a wheelbarrow that only needs a tire. Metal gets recycled where it can be: wire fencing, a bent gate, posts, the frame off an old swing set. What is left is real trash and it goes to the landfill. Brush, dead shrubs, broken boards and bagged clippings land there.

Nothing goes back in your own can, and nothing gets left in a corner of the yard for you to deal with later. He does the sorting after he pulls out, so the yard is done when he is.

What Brandon will not haul out of a yard

Yard piles pick up a lot from the shed on the way out, and some of it stays. Anything out of the paint shelf stays behind, solvents and thinners and the household chemicals with them. So do the fuel cans for the mower, motor oil, antifreeze, the car battery, and anything else still holding liquid. A cylinder under pressure is a no, whether it ran the patio heater or a camp stove, and that covers propane tanks. Chemicals off the pool or spa shelf count as household hazardous waste, so they are out as well. If a board or a scrap might hold asbestos, a licensed abatement contractor handles it instead of Brandon. If a piece of the pile is something the transfer station will not take, ask Brandon and he will check before the day. Everything he does haul is written out on the list of what goes on the truck.

What a yard pile costs

$250 is the minimum, so that is where a yard job starts. Brandon prices from a photo: stand back far enough to get the whole pile in frame, text it over, and he sends back one number for the whole job. The quote itself costs nothing.

A photo beats a description here. Weeds piled waist high read very differently in writing than they do in a picture, and the picture is what he prices off. If the pile is spread along a fence line, two photos from either end tell him more than one. Text a photo to (559) 479-1199.

Yard piles around Mohave County

Brandon works out of Golden Valley, and a yard pile anywhere in Mohave County is on his route. Kingman, Bullhead City, Fort Mohave, Mohave Valley, Dolan Springs, Lake Havasu City and Laughlin in Nevada all get yard pickups. He runs out to Valle Vista, Chloride, Oatman, Yucca and White Hills as well. If you are not sure your road is on his list, the towns he covers are set out one by one.

The week matters more than the map on a job like this. He works Mon to Sat, 7 to 5. Sunday he is closed, so Sunday is not a haul day. The towns are spread out, so Brandon sets the day when he books the job.

Questions

Questions about yard debris removal.

How much does yard debris removal cost in Golden Valley?
It starts at the $250 minimum. Text a photo to (559) 479-1199.
Does the pile have to be at the curb?
No. Brandon walks back to the pile and loads it where it sits, back fence or behind the shed or at the bottom of the deck stairs. Nothing has to be moved out front before he gets there.
Will Brandon take the propane cylinder sitting with the yard pile?
No. Pressurized cylinders do not go on the trailer, the propane tank off the patio heater or the little camp canister either. Paint, solvents, pool and spa chemicals and fuel cans stay too. Anything the transfer station will not take is a no, so ask Brandon and he will check.
Can a property manager book this without the tenant there?
Yes. Brandon sets the day with the manager and prices off the photo the manager sends. He answers his own phone, so there is nobody in between to pass the details through.
What days does Brandon haul yard debris?
Mon to Sat, 7 to 5, and closed Sunday. He picks the day with you when the job is booked, and he does not hold a yard pickup on a day he is closed.
