E-waste & TV removal in Golden Valley, AZ
The dead TV and the pile of old gear leave the house the same trip, in Golden Valley.
Brandon Woodhouse takes the dead TV and the gear stacked behind it out of houses and offices in Golden Valley and anywhere else in Mohave County. He is the one who quotes it and the one carrying the set down the stairs, and the phone rings to him, not an office. Text a photo to (559) 479-1199. An electronics load is small and heavy at the same time. A tube TV, two dead monitors and a tower weigh more than the couch they sat next to, and they are almost never sitting by the door.
The calls come from people who have run out of places to put it. A homeowner cleaning out the spare room finds four TVs in there. A landlord gets a unit back with a wall mount still up and a printer on the floor. An office manager swaps out a dozen workstations and needs the old ones gone before the new desks land. Brandon works a mixed pile too, so the broken mini fridge next to the TVs goes on the same trip as an old appliance that quit on you.
A photo of the stack tells him most of what he needs. He wants to see the sets and the path from that room to the driveway. Pickups run Monday through Saturday, 7 to 5, with Sunday closed. If an office manager is sending it, a shot from the doorway works. When the pile has more than screens and towers in it, there is a list of everything that rides out on the trailer.

What's usually in an e-waste pile
Most of these loads look alike once Brandon gets inside. There is one set too heavy to walk out alone, usually a tube or rear-projection TV in a back bedroom, then the small gear that collected around it over the years. Monitors in a closet. A tower under a desk. A printer, a stereo receiver, a shoebox of cords and chargers, a console with no controller left for it. The stand it sat on and the bracket still screwed to the wall go too if you want them gone. What separates this from a straight furniture run is the handling. Screens crack, and a cracked screen turns into a mess on the carpet instead of a piece on the trailer, so Brandon moves them one at a time and covers the glass before anything else gets picked up.
What hauling the electronics off costs
The minimum on this work is $250. Brandon sets one number for the whole load off the photo, so the big set and everything stacked around it ride under the same figure. He quotes it himself, free, because he is the one doing the hauling. Send a second picture of the room when the pile is spread along a wall. It helps him to see all of it, so get the whole stack in the frame.
What he won't load with the electronics
A TV load picks up strays on the way out the door, and some of them stay put. Car batteries are out, and so is anything still holding liquid. Paint, solvents and thinners stay behind too, along with motor oil, antifreeze, fuel cans and the pool or spa chemicals that count as household hazardous waste. Propane tanks and any pressurized cylinder are off the trailer, patio and camping cylinders included. Anything that might be asbestos is work for a licensed abatement contractor, not for him. A microwave or a fridge still hooked to gas, water or power has to be cut loose first. And anything the transfer station will not take, Brandon cannot take either. Ask him about the odd piece and he will check on it.
How the sets come out of the house
Nothing has to be hauled to the driveway ahead of time. Brandon comes to the room the set is in. That might be a bedroom closet or the back corner of an office. A big screen goes out on its side with the glass covered, down the stairs a step at a time, and he checks the turn at the bottom of the hall before he lifts. Small gear gets boxed at the pile so loose cords are not sliding under his feet on a stair tread. On a rental or an office, he works out the door to use with the manager first. The whole lot rides off on a pickup truck with a trailer. Text a photo to (559) 479-1199.
Where the rest of the load ends up
The load is not all electronics, and the rest of it gets sorted instead of dumped in one pile. A stand in decent shape or a desk that is still solid goes to a donation center first, since somebody will use it. Metal and other material in the load is recycled where it can be. The cracked housings and the split particle board go to the landfill, because that is what they are. So does the packing foam out of the closet. What happens to the sets themselves is a question for Brandon when he gives you the number.
Hauling electronics across Mohave County
Brandon is based in Golden Valley and hauls the whole county, so an electronics pickup might be a spare bedroom in Mohave Valley one morning and an office in Kingman, Bullhead City, Fort Mohave or Lake Havasu City the next. The smaller spots count too. A set in Dolan Springs, Valle Vista, Chloride, Oatman, Yucca or White Hills gets loaded the same way, and one page names every town on his map. B&H Junk Removal is a service-area business with no published address, so the set gets picked up where it is standing. The transfer station sets the other limit. What it will not accept cannot ride out.
