Shed & storage unit cleanout in Golden Valley, AZ
Empty the unit down to the floor without touching a box, anywhere in Golden Valley.
Brandon Woodhouse clears out sheds and storage units in Golden Valley, and the same work takes him across Mohave County. A backyard shed or a rented unit gets emptied down to the bare floor, and everything that comes out leaves with him. Text a photo to (559) 479-1199. Homeowners call when a shed has turned into a dumping ground, and renters call when they are done paying for a unit they stopped opening. The pile is what makes this one different: boxes and totes stacked years ago and never opened since.
Shed cleanouts and unit cleanouts look different from the driveway. A shed is small and packed tight, and it often sits at the back of a lot, so every box is a carry across the yard. A unit means a drive down a row of doors, and the door only opens so wide. Some of them are up a flight of stairs. Brandon prices both the same way and does the hauling himself. If the mess spilled over from the house into the shed, a garage cleanout is the other half of the same weekend.
A photo does most of the work. A single picture with the shed door swung open, or the roll-up raised on a unit, usually gives Brandon enough to quote the whole job at one number. Managers text him too, usually about a unit a tenant walked away from, and they get the same number from the same photo. When nobody is sure what is left in there, the guide to what he loads and what he leaves spells it out.

What comes out of a shed or a unit
Most of it is stored-and-forgotten household stuff. Cardboard boxes gone soft at the bottom, plastic totes with the lids cracked, a mattress stood up against the wall, a dresser with one drawer missing, bagged clothes, holiday bins, a stack of folding chairs. Then the shed layer: a push mower that quit, rakes and shovels, a hose reel, half a bag of concrete mix, a bike frame nobody rode in years.
A homeowner selling the house needs the shed empty for the walkthrough. Someone who stopped paying rent on a unit has a deadline from the office. Other times it is a family member clearing a unit that was left behind. The other cleanouts on this site start inside a house. This one starts at a door with a padlock on it, and nobody has looked past that door in a long time.
What Brandon leaves on the shed floor
Sheds collect the exact stuff he can't haul. The paint cans, the solvents, the thinners and the rest of the household chemicals do not leave with him. Propane tanks stay on the floor too, along with every other pressurized cylinder, patio and camping sizes alike. A gas can, a jug of motor oil, antifreeze, a car battery, anything with liquid still sloshing in it: all of that stays behind. Pool and spa chemicals count as household hazardous waste, which puts them on the same list.
Asbestos is a licensed abatement contractor's job, and so is anything that might turn out to contain it. An old shed fridge or freezer still hooked to power has to be disconnected before it moves. And if something in the corner is unlabeled, whatever the transfer station will not take, Brandon can't take either. Ask him in the photo text and he will check before the day.
Where a shed load goes
Storage units and sheds are full of things that still have life in them, so the first stop is a donation center. Boxed dishes, tools with handles still on them, a couch that was only stored, kids' bikes, a bed frame: if someone can use it, it goes there instead of the landfill.
There is usually metal in a shed, and metal gets recycled where it can be: the wire shelving, the bent lawn chair, the mower that quit. Cardboard too. What is actually trash, the water-damaged boxes and the cushions mice found, rides to the landfill. He sorts while he loads, which is why the shed is empty when he pulls out.
How Brandon clears a shed or a unit
Brandon lifts it out from wherever it has been sitting. Nothing has to be hauled to the front of the lot first, and nothing has to be stacked by the shed door the night before. The pickup truck with a trailer gets parked as tight to the door as the row or the yard allows, and he loads from the front of the pile inward, with the heavy pieces going down first.
Units upstairs mean stairs, and he plans for that, counting the trips before he starts. At a storage property he works with whoever holds the key, the manager or the tenant. Managers clearing more than one unit usually ask about a rental property cleanout at the same time, which he prices the same way, from photos.
What a shed or unit cleanout costs
One number covers the whole job, and $250 is the minimum. Brandon sets that number off the photo, so send a clear shot. Open the door, and hold the phone back far enough to show the back wall.
A dark shot through a half-open door is worth retaking, since the photo is all he needs to quote. The man reading the photo is the one who will be carrying the boxes, because Brandon takes the calls himself. Text a photo to (559) 479-1199.
Sheds and units across Mohave County
Brandon works out of Golden Valley, and the rented rows of doors sit scattered well beyond it. He drives to units in Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City, Kingman, Laughlin in Nevada, Fort Mohave and Mohave Valley, and to sheds out in Yucca, Dolan Springs, Chloride, White Hills, Oatman and Valle Vista. He covers the county, not just the town he is based in.
A unit in Laughlin and a shed in Yucca both start with the same text message. The full list of towns he drives to shows where he turns up.
