A collapsed shed, a fence the wind has finished off, a deck that has gone soft underfoot. All three are the same job: take it apart, load it, haul it off. We do it by hand, which on the lots out here is usually the only way in anyway, and the debris leaves with us rather than sitting in a pile for a month.
This is hand demolition. Concrete slabs, footings and anything needing machinery are outside what we do, so if the shed sits on a slab you want broken out, say so on the call and we will tell you straight whether it is ours.

Weathered boards, leaning posts and old wire. It comes out and goes on the truck along with the posts where they will pull.
A deck that is no longer safe
Soft boards and a frame that has had it. We take it back to clear ground and haul the lumber away.
Clearing a lot before something is built
Old structures coming out ahead of new work. If there is more than one, tell us when you call so we can price the whole thing.

A single small shed or a short run of fence is usually one truck bed at $250. A large shed, a long fence line, or a deck with a heavy frame under it is the truck and the trailer at $500, sometimes more than one trip. Condition matters more than dimensions here, so a photo tells us more than measurements do.

Anything smaller than a full truck bed is quoted. Call and describe what you have. Heavy material like broken concrete fills the bed on weight before it fills it on space, so tell us what it is and we will be straight with you about how many loads it is.

Where It Goes
Lumber and panels go to the transfer station. Scrap metal, including sheeting, wire and framework, comes off the load where it is worth doing.

Do you take the shed down as well as haul it?
Yes. Taking it apart is most of the job. You do not need to have it down before we arrive, though if it has already collapsed that is fine too.
Will you take the concrete slab underneath?
Breaking out a slab is a different job and needs equipment we do not run. We can haul broken concrete once it is broken up. Ask when you call and we will be straight about it.
Can you pull fence posts set in concrete?
Often, depending on how they were set and how deep. Tell us what you know when you call, and say if there is a long run of them.
What about a shed with an asbestos roof?
That needs a licensed abatement contractor, not us. If the building is old enough that you are unsure, get it tested before anything is broken up.
